Distant land

The precept of the book is the study of a Brazilian imaginary regarding documentary cinema, in matters involving political and cultural aspects. For that, Gustavo Tavares da Silva used film analysis and unfolded this work in the relations of the new cinema with Brazilian photojournalism, improving himself in the context of these films and producing a historical path of Brazilian culture. Terra Distante falls with a look at renewal journalism in Paraíba and is part of this process of building a unique culture.
